Friends, Fondue, Food & More Food

Whoa, yesterday was a speedy day, so my apologies for such a quick post in the morning while I was rushing to work. 

Where did we leave off? Oh yes, breakfast…yesterday.  So here are some photos of that and my lunch items:

Breakfast: berry smoooooooooothie.



Lunch: Salad with pepitas and homemade dressing, side of nonfat greek yogurt with sliced strawberries, a few blackberries, a drizzle of honey and a handful of Kashi Heart to Heart cereal.

Dinner? I went to my friend’s house and she made us Swiss Fondue, fresh baguette’s, sautéed green beans with garlic, slices of yellow pepper and some crackers and cheese for munchies before dinner, served with a generous glass of red wine. Completely awesome.  Here’s the spread:

IMG_1668Although, I have to admit…after all of this talk lately about eating less dairy and meat, my stomach was totally wrecked after this meal.  Maybe it was just  the large amount of cheese, or the brownies with ice cream after dinner (forgot to take a picture), who knows.  All I know is I wasn’t feelin’ so hot. 

I woke up this morning and had a huge glass of lemon water, followed by some coffee, and toast with peanut butter, a little maple agave, a drizzle of nutella and banana slices.


Plans for this weekend (drumroll please) include:

  • A trip to Trader Joe’s!!!
  • A possible trip to Target today to buy….a juicer!!
